The fortuitous combination of the brownish red of the autumn leaves and the quiet green of the bamboo produced an especially brilliant view under the serene sky of this particular season.The "Nyoi-houjyu" (cintaamaNi in Sanskrit)--namely the tapered globular ornament on the roof--is "the sacred gem which can grant all our wishes after our own hearts." This ornament symbolizes the profound wisdom of Buddha.
